We are looking for compassionate and skilled Senior Support Worker to help our residents lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.
Fernside Hall is a 24 bedded service, providing exceptional support to individuals with dementia and Physical disability. Fernside Hall is a beautiful, residential care home for adults with a relaxed, family feel to the home. We are located in Halifax’s Manor Heath / Savile Park area, a few miles from the town centre.
What you’ll be Doing
- Oversee daily operations of the care home
- Lead and support a team of care staff
- Ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulations
- Develop and implement care plans
- Manage staff schedules and training
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment
- At least 2-3 + years’ experience as a Team Leader in a care home.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of learning disabilities, mental health conditions, complex needs, autism and challenging behaviours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of NVQ2 in Health and Social Care
- Must be fully flexible
- Access to mandatory training with opportunities for further professional development and career growth
