Senior Support Worker – St Austell, Cornwall £14.00 per hour | Full-Time | 40+ Hours | October Start | Mental Health | Waking Nights & Sleep-Ins Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting 2 Senior Support Workers to join an established 8-bed residential mental health service in the St Austell area of Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Support Worker who is ready to take on additional responsibility, develop their leadership skills and progress their career within mental health and social care. The Role As a Senior Support Worker, you will play an important role within the day-to-day running of the service, providing high-quality person-centred support while helping to guide and support the wider team. You will work closely with residents, colleagues and other professionals to ensure individuals receive consistent, safe and compassionate support. Key Responsibilities
Providing high-quality, person-centred mental health supportSupporting residents with daily living, independence and wellbeingTaking a lead role during shiftsSupporting and mentoring Support WorkersEnsuring care and support plans are followedCompleting accurate daily records and handoversSupporting the smooth running of the servicePromoting dignity, choice and independenceCommunicating effectively with colleagues and external professionalsResponding appropriately to changes in residents' needsHelping maintain a safe, positive and supportive environment Hours & Pay £14.00 per hour
