Creative Support is looking for an experienced, confident and proactive Senior Support Worker to join our friendly small staff team near to Alexandra Park, Manchester. You must be skilled in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional regard for the people we support. You will also have skills in the assessment of needs and proactive risk management, so that support planning for individuals demonstrates an active and fulfilling life with an emphasis on a ‘can do’ approach. This vibrant, multicultural service in the M16 area of Manchester is close to local transport links and amenities. Senior Support Worker Duties:
Provide outcome focused support to enable clients to lead fulfilling and valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in their local community and much moreEffectively meet the needs of our clients and to take additional responsibilities such as rota management, induction of staff and staff supervisionWork in a flexible manner which may including working evenings and weekendsParticipate in our local On CallAdministering medicationFacilitating Meetings with Service users and Stakeholders. We are looking for candidates from all walks of life, however previous mental health/care experience is essential for this Senior Support Worker role. You will need a passion for providing person-centred care and support to individuals with mental health support needs.
