Senior Support Worker

Location: Devon (Barnstaple, Bideford and Torrington areas)

Salary: £29,702.40 - £33,945.60 per annum (£16.32ph) This excludes sleep in allowance of £60 per sleep in and Senior on-call rate of £52.50-£89.25.

We’re seeking compassionate, enthusiastic and inspiring individuals to join our North Devon homes. Our homes are based in the Barnstaple, Bideford and Torrington areas. You’ll bring energy, positivity and a genuine passion for helping children thrive. The right candidate will be engaging, nurturing and able to create a fun, safe and empowering environment where younger children feel supported and encouraged to grow.

To apply, you must have a minimum of one year’s experience working as a Residential Support Worker in a children’s home. However, we strongly favour applicants with more substantial experience or those already operating at a senior level, demonstrating leadership, initiative and confidence in supporting both children and colleagues.

Senior Support Workers are typically qualified, so holding a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or an equivalent qualification) is highly preferred.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, as the position involves travelling between care locations across the Barnstaple, Bideford and Torrington areas of Devon.
