The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care to a defined group of patients, assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with patients and their families. They will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate clinical records, and ensure effective communication with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders. The role includes supervising and supporting nursing and healthcare assistant staff, acting as Nurse in Charge when required, contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, medicines management, and professional standards. The post holder will also support the development of junior staff and student nurses while maintaining their own professional development and adherence to the NMC Code and organisational policies.
You will join the team on the Rehab and Recovery ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
