Responsibilities will include providing meaningful clinical and managerial supervision to staff within the team; supporting and developing learners in practice; completion of audits and dissemination of information associated with these; supporting and leading on quality improvements; engaging with patients to support recovery, including leading on dialog+ assessments; ensuring that the clinical environments meet high infection control and cleaning standards; representing the ward at meetings which may involve preparing and presenting reports.

Qualifications
Essential: - Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification; - On-going registration with the NMC; - Specialist qualification or equivalent level in skills and development
Knowledge
Essential
- Understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Knowledge and practice of Mental Health Act 1983
- Knowledge and practice of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
Experience
Essential: - Previous post graduate experience; - Supervision and management of staff; - Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
