Senior Staff Nurse A&E B6 - West Cumberland Hospital - Fixed term 10 Months Maternity Cover. An exciting opportunity has become available to be part o...

You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, providing the prescribed nursing care without supervision. You will also contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice within the department and ward area, as well as providing nursing care in accordance with local policies, procedures and guidelines and comply with NMC code of professional conduct.

Applications are invited from highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have experience of working as a student nurse or as a qualified staff nurse within the NHS or equivalent.

Qualifications

Essential: - oRegistered nurse, with active registration.; - oNST 307 or equivalent.; - oRelevant development to postgraduate certificate or equivalent.

Desirable: - oEssential IT skills (EITS) or equivalent.; - oRelevant development to postgraduate diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Essential: - oPost registration patient care.; - oAble to deal with a continually changing workload.; - oTeaching / mentoring.; - oRelevant nursing duties.

Desirable: - oWithin relevant speciality.

Knowledge

Essential
