If you're passionate about mental health social work and want to be part of a team that values collaboration, professional growth, and making a real impact on people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team working with adults aged 18 to 65, helping people build on their strengths, achieve their goals, and live the lives they choose.

  • Develop person-centred, outcome-focused support plans
  • Deliver planned interventions and ongoing social work support
  • Work closely with families, carers, health professionals, and partner agencies
  • Promote independence, choice, and positive risk-taking
  • Advocate for the people you support and ensure their voices are heard

  • Support and mentor colleagues within the team
  • Assist the Team Manager in maintaining high standards of practice
  • Provide supervision to students and other staff where required
  • Share your knowledge and help develop others
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the service

✅ Passionate about improving outcomes for adults with mental health needs

✅ A confident and skilled social worker who enjoys building meaningful relationships

✅ A team player who values collaboration and partnership working

✅ Committed to learning, development, and reflective practice

✅ Knowledgeable about the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act

✅ Ready to bring enthusiasm, compassion, and expertise to a supportive team

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification recognised by CCETSW
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Evidence of post-qualifying training and professional development
  • Commitment to maintaining and developing professional skills and knowledge
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with people, carers, colleagues, and partner organisations

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team where your contribution is recognised, your development is encouraged, and your work has a genuine impact on the lives of local people.

Whether you're already a Senior Social Worker or an experienced practitioner ready for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
