Job description

Looking for your next step in childrens nursing, where you can lead, support others and continue to develop your clinical expertise? As a Senior Regis...

This is an opportunity to build on your experience and take on greater responsibility, whether leading shifts, supporting junior staff, contributing to service improvements or working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families. You'll join a team that values professionalism, collaboration and continuous development, with opportunities to further enhance your specialist skills and expertise.

If you're ready to bring your experience, leadership and passion for children's nursing to a rewarding senior role, we'd love to hear from you.

A workplace that invests in you

Enjoy higher salaries compared to the UK, along with annual salary increases that extend beyond typical UK NHS pay scales.

A generous annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days and 10 Public Holidays.

Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, the IOM Public Service offers two pension arrangements: the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2011 or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) Arrangement.

Step away from NHS pressures and demands! The Island’s healthcare system is similar but separate to the UK NHS.

You may be eligible for a Blue Light Card, unlocking a wide range of exclusive discounts on shopping, food and leisure activities at hundreds of popular high street and online retailers.

Access to the staff canteen at Noble’s Hospital where you can purchase affordable food and drinks in your breaks.

Free on-site car parking.

Our on-site education and training centre, Keyll Darree, comprises a lecture theatre, well stocked medical library, training facilities and a state-of-the-art simulation lab which is operated by trained simulation practitioners.

Take advantage of the excellent opportunities we provide for your professional development, including the many courses we fund including those up to Masters Level.

Access to the Learning, Education and Development training facility, which is exclusively for Public Service employees, to keep on top of your continuous professional development.

Free access to the Isle of Man Government Staff Welfare Service which offers professional counselling, emotional support and signposting on a wide range of issues.

Accommodation may be available for the first 6 months in your role at a reduced rate for non-Island residents, subject to availability.

A relocation package of up to £1,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month. This role also qualifies for a recruitment incentive of £3,000, payable in the 1st, 13th, and 25th months of employment. By joining Manx Care on the Isle of Man, you'll enjoy the opportunity to work in a healthcare system that is similar to, but separate from, the NHS, offering a refreshing change from many of the pressures and demands experienced elsewhere in the UK.

We are committed to supporting your professional development through a wide range of learning and continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities, including access to our well-equipped Education and Training Centre.

Many of our sites offer free on-site parking, and we provide generous relocation packages for the majority of our roles to help make your move as seamless as possible.

Beyond work, the Isle of Man offers an exceptional quality of life, with stunning landscapes, a safe and welcoming community and excellent schools.
