- To manage the staff within the oncology service to optimise workflow and patient experience.- To manage the day-to-day work within the oncology service to minimise financial loss- Managing monthly KPI's- To develop and maintain supplier relationships- Undertake monthly review meetings- Make enquiries with suppliers- To liaise with doctors and nurses regarding authorisation and discrepancies with patients medication to improve patient safety- To provide advice to patients regarding their medication- To support other services within the pharmacy department including dispensary, procurement, ward technician services and trials

Qualifications
Essential: - Registered Pharmacy Technician; - Qualified ACT (nationally recognised qualification) or significant progress towards qualification
Desirable: - NHS leadership qualification; - Medicines Management Qualification (CMMPT or equivalent)
Experience
Essential: - Demonstrable post qualification experience within a hospital setting
Desirable: - Previous experience of working under pressure and to strict deadlines; - Homecare experience; - Oncology experience
