An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to work as part of the MSK Service assessing and treating patients referred to P...
To provide an effective and efficient clinical service to patients referred with musculoskeletal conditions or injuries within the framework of clinical governance.
To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme to patients .
To hold responsibility for own case load and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision.

Experience
Essential
- To have significant experience of working with patients with musculoskeletal conditions
- Experience working within the NHS
- Can demonstrate relevant/varied post-graduate experience across a variety of clinical areas at Band 5 level
Desirable: - Member of a professional body and/or specific interest group
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Theoretical knowledge and applied clinical practice in the assessment and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal conditions
- Competent IT skills to use electronic patient records and other Trust systems
- Timekeeping, planning and prioritisation skills
- Evidence of MDT working
- Demonstrates advanced clinical reasoning skills
- Good understanding of the structure, policies, priorities and format of the NHS
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Knowledge of relevant national guidelines and standards
- Demonstrates analyitcal skills and judgment when dealing with the therapy management of complex patients
Qualifications and Training
Essential: - BSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy; - HCPC Registration; - Achieved or willing to work towards relevant Post-Graduate qualification/training
