An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the CONNECT: West Yorkshire Adult Eating Disorder service as an inpatient psychological professional. As a ...
- Offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues, external agencies and to family/ carers.
- Enhance psychological and trauma-informed thinking within the MDT and support the psychological health of the team.
- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy for individuals with eating disorders who are accessing inpatient treatment with CONNECT.
- Offer clinical supervision to psychological therapists and other members of the MDT, including assistant psychologist and Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
- Liaise with other services as appropriate and work closely with the wider CONNECT service to enhance
- Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the trust and service policies and procedures.
- Utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development within the area served by the team/service.
- To provide a key role in psychological aspects of service development.
- To contribute to service improvement projects across the service as appropriate
You should be able demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable in your approach as well as being innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic in working collaboratively with a skilled and experienced MDT.
This role is based on site at ward 6, Newsam Centre, Seacroft Hospital.

Essential: - Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent prior to 1996) and HCPC registration as Practitioner Psychologist.

- Formal training in supervision of others.
Experience
Essential: - Significant post qualification experience in an area of practice relevant to the service specified in the job summary, to include assessment of risk.
