Nurse Seekers are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for a compassionate and experienced Senior Night Care Assistant to join their dedicated team within a residential care setting.
The successful candidate will be a caring, reliable and approachable individual with strong leadership skills and a genuine desire to make a difference to the lives of others.
As Senior Night Care Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support overnight, promoting their dignity, privacy, independence and overall wellbeing.
- Providing high-quality, individualised care tailored to residents’ needs and preferences.
- Leading, supervising and supporting care staff throughout the night shift.
- Delegating duties effectively and ensuring care tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and responding promptly to their needs.
- Ensuring care plans, repositioning charts and relevant documentation are accurately completed.
- Supporting residents with bedtime routines, personal care, comfort and overnight refreshments.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working as a Care Assistant within a residential care setting.
- A completed Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- A compassionate, empathetic and person-centred approach to care.
- Previous experience or demonstrated ability in leading, supervising and motivating a team.
- Strong organisational, delegation and problem-solving skills.
- A flexible approach to working hours and a commitment to night-time care.
