As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in person-centred care planning, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and supporting staff development.

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude
- Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Our ideal candidatemust
- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to bothsupporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Beresponsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Qualifications
Essential
- An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, along with 2 years experience working in a similar care environment, is required. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, possessing a positive attitude toward supporting and nurturing residents and staff, and being responsive and flexible to cover various responsibilities are essential for success in this role.
