We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to take a leading role within a supportive care team in Shrewsbury. You will lead shifts, support and guide care assistants, and make sure the people in your care receive the highest standard of support.
This is a great next step for an experienced care assistant who wants more responsibility, better pay and a clear route into management.
- Leading shifts and supporting care assistants day to day
- Delivering and overseeing high-quality personal care
- Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans
- Writing and reviewing care plans and keeping accurate records
- Being a point of contact for families and health professionals
- Supporting new starters with induction and training

- Shifts run smoothly and the team feels supported

- Experience in a care role, ideally with some senior or leadership responsibility
- A caring, organised and dependable approach
