Senior Care Assistant – Days or Nights – Luxury Retirement Home – AV1998 Location: Nailsea, SomersetPay: £15.00 per hourHours: Full Time – Days or Nights Available About the Home Avon Search is recruiting on behalf of a well-established luxury residential and nursing care home located in the heart of Nailsea, Somerset. This purpose-built 62-bed home provides high-quality residential, nursing and respite care within a welcoming and supportive environment. Surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and mature greenery, the home combines peaceful countryside surroundings with the convenience of nearby shops, cafés and excellent transport links. The experienced management team leads a dedicated workforce of around 75 staff, creating a caring and professional atmosphere where residents receive truly person-centred support. Every resident is treated with dignity, respect and compassion, with individual care plans tailored to their personal needs, preferences and wellbeing. The Role As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents while providing guidance and leadership to the wider care team. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting care staff throughout your shiftDelivering high-quality, person-centred careSupporting residents with personal care and daily living activitiesAdministering medication safely and accuratelyMaintaining care plans and accurate documentationPromoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeingLiaising with nurses, relatives and healthcare professionalsEnsuring a safe, positive and welcoming environment for residents About You
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant within a residential or nursing homeMedication administration experienceCompassionate, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional careExcellent communication and leadership skillsPassionate about making a positive difference to residents' livesAble to work effectively as part of a supportive team Benefits & Perks
