Working with adults and paediatrics in a range of in and out patient settings performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostics as well as supporting the Clinical Physiologists makes up the majority of the role.
Analysis is also a key component as well as training and assessing staff from around the Trust in 12 lead ECG recording.
You will be required to help with any administration duties as required within Cardiology services.
Applicants will be expected to study and sit the Award in Electrocardiography within the first 6 months of appointment. Eighteen months experience working as an Assistant Physiologist is vital.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE pass or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
- Certificate in Electrocardiography

- Experience and evidence of working in a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues and patients.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting with patients
- Experience of working as an Assistant Physiologist in Cardiology
Desirable
- Previous experience in assessing healthcare professionals
- Analyse and produce factual ambulatory reports in readiness for verification by Clinical Physiologists
Communication
Essential
- Ability to communicate effectively and adapt to the audience/situation
- Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
