Scrub Nurse/ Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP - Theatres

As a Theatre Practitioner (Nurse or ODP) your role will be in Scrub and/or Anaesthetics and/or Recovery, delivering a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence-based practice. You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate all aspect of patient care, prepare patients and aid with clinical/operative procedures and participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives.

This post is suitable for students who are due to qualify this year who will hold a relevant qualification.

Education/ qualifications

Essential: - Registered Nurse

Desirable: - Theatre experience (scrub / anaesthetic); - Completion of peri operative competencies; - Experience in acute hospital setting
