The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to registered patients through a combination of face-to-face, telephone, and digital consultations. You will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and long-term conditions while supporting patients to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, social prescribers, care coordinators, and administrative colleagues, to ensure patients receive coordinated and effective care. The role also involves reviewing clinical correspondence, laboratory results, medication management, and maintaining accurate clinical records using EMIS Web.
As part of the practice team, you will contribute to safeguarding responsibilities, clinical governance activities, quality improvement projects, and service development initiatives. There will be opportunities to participate in practice meetings, educational activities, and the ongoing development of services that support the needs of our local population.We are committed to supporting professional development and actively encourage candidates to develop additional skills and areas of expertise that will enhance both their career progression and the services we provide to our patients.

The Salaried GP will provide highquality,
patientcentred primary care within a GP Practice. Working closely with the
Lead GP and small multidisciplinary team, the postholder will deliver clinical
care, undertake clinical administration, contribute to quality improvement, and
support the safe and effective running of the practice.
Given the nature of the practice, the role
requires flexibility,
autonomy and a willingness to support a broad range of practice functions, including home
visits, clinical workflow tasks, long-term condition management, and
involvement in local primary care networks.

Qualifications
Essential: - 1. GMC registered medical practitioner; - 2. Inclusion on the NHS performers list; - 3. MRCGP or equivalent; - 4. Evidence of ongoing CPD
Experience
Essential: - 1. Experience in UK general practice; - 2. Experience working independently and managing complex caseloads
Desirable: - Familiarity with the demands of small practice or similar environments
Skills
Essential
- 1. Excellent clinical decision making
- 2. Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- 3. Ability to manage risk safely in a primary care setting
- 4. Competent with clinical IT systems (EMIS or willingness to learn)
