As a Salaried GP at Clifton Court Medical Practice, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse practice population whilst working as part of a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Undertaking face-to-face, telephone and other patient consultations as appropriate.
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Providing ongoing care for patients with long-term conditions.
- Prescribing in line with local and national guidance.
- Develop and review patient management and treatment plans.
- Making appropriate referrals to secondary care and community services.
- Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audit and QOF activity.
- Contributing to enhanced service delivery where appropriate.
- Working collaboratively with practice colleagues and the wider healthcare team.
- Participating in practice meetings and continuing professional development activities.
The successful candidate will undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a General Practitioner working within primary care.
To provide high-quality, safe and effective medical services to the practice population whilst working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary primary care team.
- Conduct patient consultations, examinations and assessments.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and review patient management and treatment plans.
- Safely prescribe and review medications in accordance with local and national guidance.
- Provide health promotion and preventative care.
- Refer patients appropriately to secondary care and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain clear, accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
- Participate in practice meetings, clinical audits and quality improvement activities.
- Support achievement of QOF and enhanced service objectives.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the practice team.
- Comply with GMC guidance, NHS regulations and practice policies.
- Undertake all duties normally associated with a GP working within primary care.

Our multidisciplinary team includes GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, GP Assistants and an experienced administrative and leadership team. Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.

Desirable: - Understanding of current NHS policy and primary care developments.; - Interest in Women's Health.
Experience
Essential
- Experience working as a GP within a primary care setting.
- Experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Experience working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable: - Experience using SystmOne.; - Experience in a GP training practice environment.
Qualifications
Essential
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
- Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
- Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
