Before interviews, an assessment centre will be held as part of a two-phase assessment process to select the most suitable candidates. A third phase may be required if there are similar scores across candidates.

As a dedicated midwife, your main duties will revolve around providing safe, clinically effective and individualised care to women and birthing people throughout their pregnancy journey.
Working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, you will be involved in all areas of the maternity services.

Experience
Essential
- 1) Please demonstrate your clinical skills, knowledge and practical experience across a broad range of maternity services
- 2) Please demonstrate your experience in a UK maternity setting
- 3) Please explain how you will use the preceptorship programme to support your transition to a qualified practitioner
Desirable
- 1) Please describe your experience of supporting or mentoring junior colleagues, and explain what this role means to you in your practice.
Qualifications
Essential
- 1) BSc (Hons) Midwifery or equivalent qualification (include expected month and year of qualification if pending).
- 2) UK NMC registration as a Midwife (state if active or awaiting PIN and expected activation date; do not include PIN number).
Desirable
- 1) Newborn and Infant Physical Examination (NIPE) training.
- 2) Mentorship/Practice Supervisor or Assessor training (or equivalent).
