We have an exciting opportunity for 16 18 years olds to work across a busy Marcomms Team, engaging in internal and external communications across a range of channels, gaining real work experience for a future career in Marketing. No experience is necessary just enthusiasm, a willingness and drive to learn, and a genuine interest in developing a career within Marketing and Communications.

Are you looking to start your career in Marketing and gain hands on experience whilst working towards a recognised qualification? Then join our team as a Marketing & Communications Apprentice and begin an exciting journey developing your skills to communicate and build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
This development role is designed to build your skills, knowledge, and confidence, enabling you to provide efficient and effective day-to-day support, contributing with new ideas, collaboration and energy and enthusiasm to learn.
What You will Be Doing
- Planning, editing and writing content for various channels
- Providing administrative support such as the marcomms inbox and calendar
- Attending events and representing the hospice to supervise photography and videography
What You will Gain

- Insight into working with internal and external stakeholders as well as working with volunteers

Qualifications
Essential
- A good standard of education in English and
- Maths

- Educated to A level
Experience

- Basic IT skills (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and handling information appropriately
- An interest in people, learning, and supporting others
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to interact respectfully and positively with a range of people
- Ability to learn new skills and develop in a work environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with guidance where appropriate
- Flexibility to gain experience across different areas of the Trading Team
Desirable
- Any experience of working with others (e.g. school, college, volunteering,)
- Demonstrates an interest in developing a career in retail.
