- Administer recruitment for assigned Divisions using TRAC, keeping records accurate and up to date.
- Process vacancy requests and adverts, and support shortlisting and interview arrangements.
- Prepare conditional offers and recruitment correspondence.
- Complete and monitor pre-employment checks, including right to work, DBS and references, following agreed procedures.
- Chase outstanding information and escalate delays, discrepancies or concerns.
- Respond to queries from managers and candidates, providing clear advice on recruitment processes and progress.
- Coordinate onboarding administration, including induction bookings and information needed for the new starter's first day.
- Maintain complete recruitment files that are ready for audit.
- Support recruitment campaigns, open days and virtual events.
- Prioritise a high-volume workload to meet agreed deadlines and service standards.

Our Resourcing Team helps services recruit the staff they need to deliver patient care. You will work with colleagues and recruiting managers across the Trust, supporting appointments into a wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles.
This is an opportunity to use your administrative skills in work that makes a difference, while developing your knowledge of NHS recruitment and pre-employment checks. You will be part of a team where accuracy, clear communication and supporting each other are essential to delivering a good service to managers and candidates.
Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust's redeployment process.
Qualifications
Essential: - Good standard of education to GCSE (or equivalent) grade level 4/C or above in English and Maths
Desirable: - NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience
Experience
Essential
- Experience working in an administrative role within a busy environment
- Experience of using computer systems (e.g. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience of accurate data entry and maintaining records
Desirable
- Experience working in recruitment, HR or NHS environment
- Experience using TRAC, ESR or similar recruitment systems
- Experience supporting high-volume administrative processes
