Residential Support Worker Location: Lingfield, SurreySalary: £25,308 - £27,180 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)Contract: Term-Time Only (39 weeks per year)Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Make a Real Difference Every Day Academics is delighted to be recruiting in Lingfield for compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join a SEN residential unit. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs, helping them to develop confidence, independence and essential life skills in a safe, nurturing environment. No two days are the same, and every day brings the opportunity to positively impact a young person's life. The Role As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

Provide high-quality care and emotional support to students within the residential setting.Encourage independence and promote personal development.Support students with daily routines, social activities and life skills.Help create a safe, welcoming and supportive home-from-home environment.Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and the wider care team to ensure the best outcomes for every child. A positive and compassionate approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to work as part of a supportive team.Resilience, reliability and a genuine desire to make a difference.
