Core Responsibilities

Provide empathetic 24-hour care within residential settings, including night and weekend coverage.Help service users manage emotional distress through structured, trauma-informed approaches.Guide young people through daily routines, school runs, and developmental hobbies.Uphold high compliance standards relative to Scottish regulatory guidance.Collaborate effectively with inter-agency professionals, social workers, and care teams. Position Requirements

Proven background in a residential childcare setting.PVG membership for working with children.SVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) preferred.Full UK driving licence is strongly preferred.Resilience, patient approach, and strong interpersonal boundary-setting skills.
