You will report to the Care Coordinator.

Your working pattern is on an as and required basis.

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to older people in their own homes, in a friendly and respectful environment. You’ll help with everyday tasks and activities that make life meaningful; from personal care and companionship to supporting wellbeing and social inclusion.

We are recruiting for a caring, compassionate person to work at Braeburn Court. You'll take pride in supporting older people to live with dignity, comfort, and independence, and enjoy being part of a positive, motivated team.

Based in Braeburn Court, you’ll work closely with colleagues and senior staff, taking initiative, sharing ideas, and contributing to a supportive team culture where everyone’s input is valued. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and ready to develop their skills and confidence in care.

The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are an SVQ 2 (SCQF Level 6) in Health and Social Care or other equivalent qualifications accepted by SSSC for registration, or achieve this within 3 years of appointment. You must also register with SSSC as a Support Worker within 3 months of appointment.

This post is a regulated role with adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG Scheme membership.

Applications close at 23:59 on Sunday 1 November 2026 with shortlisting taking place from 2 November 2026 and interviews are scheduled for week commencing 9 November 2026.
