An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community Therapy Team as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assista...

Deliver rehabilitation through therapy interventions, which may include support with personal care tasks, cognition and mobility

Carry out rehabilitation plans as delegated by occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with service users, families, and the therapy team.

Be flexible to support the team during peak service times.

Participate in the 7-day service rota, including weekends, delivering rehabilitation between 8am and 8pm.

Passionate about patient care and rehabilitation.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Organised with good time management skills.Experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications & Knowledge

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

Desirable

  • An understanding of manual handling principles

Experience

  • Previous experience of working in the care or leisure setting
  • Experience of working in a busy and varied workplace including dealing with the public

Desirable

  • Broad range of life experiences
