We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Older Peoples Medicine team on Dunston Ward. This is a rewarding opportunity...
Work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework. Maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse.Act as a leader in the clinical area, in the absence of a more senior member of staff. To work in accordance with the principles set out by the Nursing/Midwifery professional bodies and Trust Policies.Support leaners and junior colleagues, developing learning opportunities where able for both staff, learners and patients.

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse on the NMC register
- Mentorship preparation programme (or required to complete once in post) if applicable to clinical area
Experience

- Ability to work effectively as a team player under appropriate supervision, and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development and maintenance of a Personal, Professional Profile
