Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to develop your career within a specialist endoscopy environment?

At InHealth, we're expanding our Endoscopy service and are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our Birmingham site. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment, delivering outstanding patient care and contributing to a high-quality endoscopy service.

Using a patient-centred model of care, you'll play a key role in supporting the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients throughout their endoscopy journey.

As a Registered Nurse within our Endoscopy team, you will:

  • Support patients before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care programmes to ensure the highest standards of clinical care are maintained.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior colleagues, healthcare support workers, and students, helping to develop their skills and confidence.

  • Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service development activities.
  • Build effective relationships with patients, relatives, and members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with best practice, professional standards, and organisational policies.

About You We're looking for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

  • Current registration with the NMC and an active PIN.
  • Previous experience working within an endoscopy setting.
  • A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
  • The ability to instil confidence and reassurance in patients and those around you.
  • Strong clinical judgement and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational, workload management, and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the service, including participation in a weekend rota.

InHealth is the UKs largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, working in partnership with the NHS for more than 30 years to make healthcare better for more than 5 million patients each year.

For clinical colleagues, that means delivering high-quality care within modern settings, with state-of-the-art equipment across a wide range of community, hospital and mobile settings.

With flexibility, strong learning and development opportunities, and the chance to support people at important moments in their healthcare journey, you can build a rewarding career while making a real difference locally and nationally.

InHealth is a place where you're trusted to do your job well, supported by people who value your expertise and give you the space to act on it. Teams show up for each other, leaders back your judgment and help remove blockers rather than create them.

New opportunities open as we grow - whether that's progressing, moving sideways or taking on something different as your strengths evolve. And everything we do is focussed on making healthcare better - for patients, partners and the people delivering care.
