Do you want to be a part of a new exciting development to improve the health of the population we serve? We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic registered nurses with vascular experience and knowledge to join Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board's North Wales Vascular Network.
For those nurses without Vascular experience but with a keen interest and a desire to develop their skills, we will provide support and guidance to gain their Vascular competencies. Newly qualified nurses will follow the Health Board preceptorship programme and will not only gain vascular knowledge and skills, but progress to become Practice Supervisors and Practice Assessors for our future nursing students.
The tertiary unit for major arterial surgery is located at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire. As an integral part of this development wehave invested in a dedicated vascular ward and installed a state of the art Hybrid Theatre (including Interventional Radiology facilities). The Health Board has invested in a team of consultant surgeons, interventional radiologists, middle grade doctors, two new IR suites and a dedicated vascular ward.
