Please note that previous applicants need not apply.
We are looking for an inspiring and motivated leader to manage and develop Renfrewshire's Telecare and Community Alarms Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a vital frontline service that helps people live independently, safely, and confidently in their own homes through the effective use of technology and responsive support services.
As Registered Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery, whilst leading the service through Care Inspectorate registration and embedding a culture of continuous improvement, quality assurance and person-centred care.
An exciting time to join
This is a particularly exciting time to join Renfrewshire Health & Social Care Partnership as we embark upon an ambitious transformation journey across our community health and social care services. Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS) are a key component of this vision, helping to reshape how we support people to remain independent, connected, and safe within their own homes and communities.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the potential of technology to improve lives and who can think creatively about how innovative solutions can support people to achieve a wide range of personal outcomes. Whether supporting people to remain at home for longer, enhancing safety and wellbeing, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions, supporting carers, or promoting independence and choice, you will help lead the development of a modern, outcome-focused service that places people at its heart.
A relevant qualification in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 9 or above, or an equivalent qualification.
Experience of managing and leading complex services within a health or social care setting.
The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage people, performance and resources effectively.
Experience of managing budgets, workforce planning and operational service delivery.
The ability to use data and performance information to support decision making and service improvement.
Experience of working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to improve outcomes.
An understanding of adult and older people's services and integrated approaches to service delivery.
Proven skills in evaluating service demand/delivery, predicting resource constraints, and overcoming obstacles.
Effective communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite and other relevant IT systems.
Registration with, or the ability to register with, the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Telecare and Community Alarm operations.
- Community Meals and Overnight Care.
- Care Inspectorate registration and regulatory compliance.
- Service quality, governance and performance.
- Workforce development, training and support.
- Innovation in technology-enabled care.
- Partnership working across health and social care services
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Technology Enabled Care in Renfrewshire, lead an ambitious programme of service development and transformation, and make a real difference to the lives of people across our communities.
If you are passionate about leadership, innovation and the power of technology to help people live better lives, we would love to hear from you.
