An exciting opportunity to lead a brand-new children’s residential service. We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager to take the lead on a new residential service supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and autism.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Children’s Home Manager looking for their next challenge, or an experienced Adult Learning Disability Manager who is ready to take their career into children’s residential care.
As this is a brand-new service, you’ll have the opportunity to build the team, establish the culture and shape the service from the ground up, with strong support around you.
As Registered Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of the home, ensuring young people receive safe, person-centred and high-quality care.
We’re keen to hear from experienced managers who have a strong understanding of complex care and learning disabilities, whether your background is in children's or adult services.
- Previous experience managing a regulated care service, ideally within children’s residential care or adult learning disabilities.
- Experience leading and developing teams within a complex care environment.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, care planning and quality standards.
- Experience managing budgets and service performance.
- A Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management, or be working towards one.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The flexibility to undertake on-call responsibilities.
If you’re an experienced Adult LD Registered Manager looking to make the move into children’s services, this could be an excellent opportunity to transfer your existing skills into a new environment.
Likewise, if you’re an experienced Children’s Home Manager looking for the opportunity to establish and lead a brand-new service, we’d love to hear from you
If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference and progress your leadership career, please send your CV to or call Charley directly on for a confidential discussion.
