Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for on-call duties

An established domiciliary care provider is looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to oversee its service in the Weybridge area on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and has the leadership skills to support a team, maintain standards and ensure the service runs smoothly.

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service, ensuring safe, effective care delivery and compliance with CQC regulations.

  • Overseeing the delivery of safe, person-centred care in line with CQC standards.
  • Ensuring assessments, care plans and risk assessments are accurate and up to date.
  • Managing rotas and staffing levels to ensure reliable care delivery.
  • Building positive relationships with service users, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Overseeing safeguarding, complaints, incidents and quality audits.
  • Supporting, supervising and developing care and office-based staff.
  • Maintaining compliance, accurate records and high standards of documentation.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of the service and representing it at external meetings.

We're looking for someone who can lead by example, communicate effectively and maintain high standards across the service.

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, with a Level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and relevant health and social care legislation.
  • Experience in care assessments, risk management and person-centred care planning.
  • Proven leadership experience, including supporting staff and managing performance.
  • Good organisational, administrative and IT skills.
  • A sound understanding of confidentiality and health and safety.
  • Eligibility to be registered with the CQC as a Registered Manager.

Previous experience as a Registered Manager would be advantageous. A Train-the-Trainer qualification and experience of business management or customer service would also be beneficial.

  • £40,000 annual salary, pro rata for the fixed-term contract.
  • 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 wellbeing support.
  • Free enhanced DBS check.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Access to a wellbeing platform and Blue Light Card discounts.
  • A supportive environment where quality of care and staff development are valued.

Additional information: This is a fixed-term maternity cover position. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
