Registered Manager - Elderly Residential HomeSouthend-on-Sea£40,000 - £45,000 per annumWe are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee a well-established 30-bed elderly residential home in the Southend-on-Sea area.The home currently holds a Good CQC rating and provides high-quality care and support to older people, including residents living with dementia.This is a great opportunity for an experienced care home manager who enjoys being visible within the service and building strong relationships with residents, families and staff.The RoleYou will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring consistently high standards of care, compliance and staff performance.Key responsibilities will include: Leading and supporting the staff teamMaintaining high standards of person-centred careEnsuring continued compliance with CQC regulationsBuilding positive relationships with residents and their familiesManaging staffing, recruitment and performancePromoting a warm, welcoming and well-run home environmentContinuing to develop and improve the service The CandidateTo be considered, you will need: Previous experience managing a similar elderly residential or dementia care homeNVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social CareA strong understanding of CQC regulations and complianceExcellent leadership and people-management skillsA natural, approachable communication styleConfidence speaking with residents, relatives and staffTo live within a reasonable commuting distance of Southend-on-Sea Salary & Package£40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.If you are an experienced Registered Manager looking to join an established home with a Good CQC rating and a strong focus on quality care, we would love to hear from you.Coburg Banks Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
