Registered Manager Adult services.
Location: Cleator, Cumbria
If you're an experienced care leader who genuinely wants to make a difference, this is your opportunity to lead a well-established adult care service for adults with learning disability and complex needs. Working with a reputable and established organisation who provide support to vulnerable people with learning disability, complex needs, mental health issues, we seek a skilled, positive minded and committed Registered Manager.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of a 6 bedded residential service for adults with complex needs, learning disabilities.
- Ensure person-centred care is delivered and tailored to individual needs, ensuring that your team is fully trained and supported to do so.
- Oversee recruitment, training, supervision and performance management to build a motivated, skilled team
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring legal, regulatory and organisational compliance
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation, including care records, audits and reports
- Build strong relationships with service users, families and external stakeholders
- Monitor service quality through audits, feedback and continuous improvement
- Manage budgets, resources and operational activities efficiently
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and relevant adult social care legislation
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Care Services (or equivalent)
- Strong adult social care background, with care management and leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team in a regulated environment
- Excellent knowledge of CQC requirements, adult safeguarding and care management best practice
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with confidence managing multiple priorities
- Competence in budget management, resource allocation and operational planning
- A compassionate, people-first leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset and a can do attitude. Flexibility will be required to support your team on shift where needed, but also lead from the front. On call duties cover one day and paid at extra payments.
