Base: Community Inpatient Unit
Hours: 24 hours a week, fixed term contract for 9 months to cover maternity leave

£25,275 fixed salary point pro rata per annum.
We are seeking some highly motivated and passionate Recovery Worker to join the MDT team at Community inpatient unit. The service provides short term rehab and reablement for Services Users who may need to regain their confidence and skills on discharge from hospital or to get over a short-term health exacerbation.
We encourage and support our Service Users to live as independent lives as possible and we always act in a manner that supports the care, protection, health and well-being of the Service User.
You will work alongside a wider MDT based at CIU including Nurses, Social Workers, Therapists and Assistant Practitioner to support service users to reach their rehab potential and move forward in their health journey.
You will work under direction of the HCA/ Assistant Practitioner and Nursing team and will carry out assigned tasks involving personal and nutritional care needs to patients.
You will follow protocols, guidance, and procedures under the direction of senior staff/ manager/supervisor.

- To have a range of clinical skills, such as, wound care, eye care, pressure area care, venepuncture, bowel/bladder care, blood pressure monitoring and blood sugar monitoring.
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working with patients/ service users.
Desirable
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in using SystemOne.
Qualifications
Essential
- QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Level 2 qualification in Numeracy and Literacy or equivalent level of competence.
