We have an exciting opportunity at Barts Health NHS Trust, within the Cardiac Diagnostics Directorate to join as a Receptionist/Scheduler. We are look...

The role involves managing the booking and scheduling of patients for cardiac diagnostic services, ensuring adherence to national and local access targets, and the Trust's Access policy. The post holder will develop efficient systems to provide patients with clear communication, choice, and responsive service. This includes adhering to the 6-week diagnostic wait and the 18-week treatment pathway, with any breaches reported to the Supervisor or Team Leader. Responsibilities also include investigating patient DNAs, updating waitlists, managing cancellations, adding patients to the worklist with consideration to urgency and equality, maintaining accurate electronic records, identifying potential delays, ensuring proactive use of capacity, and ensuring timely dispatch of patient reports. All communication with patients must be logged on the Trust system.
