Four Elms Medical Centres are looking for two part time medical receptionists to join our busy, friendly practice team. The applicant must be enthusia...

The main duties of the post will be dealing with patients in a polite and confident manner, answering the telephones, issuing prescriptions, liaising with clinicians and team members, and some adminstistration work. This role will require a sensitive, empathetic manner.

Welcoming patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone.

Answering and/or referring enquiries appropriately.

Maintaining confidentiality of personal information.

Assisting in maintaining the smooth running of the reception office by carrying out general administrative and reception tasks.

Contribute to the team effort by working effectively as a valued team member.

Four Elms is a proactive and friendly practice serving over 15,000 patients in the Pengam Green area. We have a large, lively team, who enjoy having a bit of fun as well as working hard. It is busy but also rewarding and the Reception Team are valued as key colleagues within the organisation.

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Ability to multi task. Flexibility. Excellent telephone manner. Good literacy skills. Ability to time manage. A focus on quality and attention to detail. Good IT skills.
