The successful candidate will be a confident and reliable individual who is flexible and who adapts well to change.
This role will involve booking appointments, greeting patients, and carrying out an effective telephone triage booking service. You will be required to work individually and also within a team.
To be considered for this post you will need GCSE or an equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics and be computer literate.
Previous NHS experience is not required, but customer-facing experience is desired.

Education / Qualifications
Essential: - GCSE (or equivalent) or above in English Language and Maths; - Call centre experience; - Customer Care or acquired experience
Desirable: - Knowledge of Microsoft packages; - Computer Literacy courses
Experience
Essential: - Reception experience within a customer service setting; - Call centre experience; - Experience within an NHS administrative environment
Desirable
- Reception experience within the NHS
- Experience of working in a fast paced NHS administration environment
- Experience of working with clients of differing healthcare needs
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Essential
- Accurate data entry, typing and checking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes
