Based within a busy environment, the post holder will have responsibility for providing a confidential, professional, and responsive administrative service. This will mainly include all reception duties, such as greeting visitors, answering the phone and email communications
The post holder will need to be professional, well-organised, team orientated and highly motivated to join our multi-disciplinary team.
Applicants should have a sound working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.
To provide general administrative support to Team Administrators and all CAMHS Clinicians and Managers.The post holder will be required to work in a busy and demanding environment and should be able to work without direct supervision and to exercise initiative. The ability to multi-task is also essential.
The post requires the ability to work on own initiative and to liaise effectively with a broad range of professions and to maintain client confidentiality.
To work alongside and to cover, when appropriate, other administration staff across several locations in some instances.

- Working as part of a team.
- Working as part of an administrative team.
- Working in an office environment and experience of office administration.
- Reception duties in a health or social care setting.
Desirable
- Experience in a mental health setting.
- Working in a multidisciplinary health team.
Skills
Essential
- Computer literacy including word processing and data entry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Ability to prioritise work.
- Ability to work without the need for direct supervision and use own initiative.
- Ability to deal with distressed clients in a sympathetic manner.
- Excellent communication skills including excellent telephone manner.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all matter relating to clients.
- Ability to work to deadlines.

- Use of patient administration systems.
- Copy typing skills.

- IT/Administration.
