What you will be doing

In this role at Rhodes Wood Hospital, a service for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders, each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.

Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.

As a Receptionist you will be

  • Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring the sign the visitor book.
  • Maintaining the upkeep of the reception area & meeting rooms are presentable.
  • Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days and therapy sessions.
  • Ensuring confidentially and security to the service.
  • Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, emails and post.
  • Ad hoc administration tasks.
  • Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display.
  • Manage deliveries.

Join the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital providing care for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders who require residential care, working on tailored treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.

There is also an on-site Ofsted Registered school to support young people continue with their education while in hospital. Rhodes Wood Hospital is located on the outskirts of Hatfield, which is easily reachable by car.
