Directorate: Adults & Health Job Title: Reablement Care Worker - Community Homecare Team Location: Thurrock Salary: £26,556 - £28,764 per annum + 7.5% shift allowance (pro rata to hours worked as part-time) Grade: B Hours: Various Part-Time Hours Available between 14 - 30 hours per week– please state your preference when applying Are you the kind of person that believes all people should live long, happy and healthy lives? We are currently looking for Reablement Care Workers who can work in our Reablement Community Homecare Team. This role is an interesting opportunity to provide care and support to Service Users in their own homes whilst they regain independence. The services provide care 365 days a year between 07.00-23.00. All permanent employees will be required to work earlies, lates, every other weekend and Bank Holidays. If you cannot commit to this then we will only be able to consider a Casual Contract. Full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle required – mileage paid at 45p per mile. The successful candidate will need to have a professional attitude at all times and have knowledge around the understanding of Dementia, Challenging behaviours and Manual Handling – training also provided.
