To actively track patient's progress through the patient pathway to ensure that care is carried out in a timely fashion on a daily basis and follows escalation and tracking on a PTL (patient tracking too

Specific co-ordination and auctioning of process of cross site referrals to another specialty (internal within the Trust

General co-ordination and action MDT outcomes and recording of progress on RIS.

To facilitate and co-ordinate the administration functions of the multidisciplinary team meetings

To ensure that all patients are identified and discussed at MDT meetings

To ensure patient diagnoses, investigations and management and treatment plans are completed and added to the patients notes electronic clinical reporting database.

To ensure all correspondence, notes, x-rays, results etc. are available for MDT meetings and following the MDT meetings, upload to pro-formas.

To work with key MDT members to identify areas where waiting time targets are not achieved, undertake process mapping to identify bottlenecks

To support wider Clerical Team with on going administration duties

Communicate professionally and effectively with patients/parents/carers, the general public and all internal and external agencies both verbally and nonverbally in a timely manner

To establish effective communications networks with clinicians and other members of the multi-disciplinary team and actively participate in development and change to any systems to improve patient journey.

Ensure diplomacy, empathy and confidentiality when dealing with distressed patients/parents/carers.

Liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff to resolve any issues that may arise, to the mutual benefit of all concerned.

Meet and greet external visitors to the department in a professional and polite manner.

Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, team briefs etc.

Typing of minutes of meetings and general departmental correspondence when required and within locally agreed timescales.

To use clinical systems according to guidelines, monitoring milestones and submitting the required reports in the given format and required times.

To keep comprehensive electronic diary of all team meetings including attendance

Work flexibly to ensure the needs of the service are met at all times

Assist the management team in addressing any complaints within the agreed timescales which may have been received within the Clinical Business Unit.

Exercise judgement and initiative in order to manage the workload effectively and efficiently, taking appropriate action to resolve any issues, liaising with appropriate personnel and seeking guidance from the Line Manager when required.

A high degree of organisational skills required to ensure that data is capturedfor all patients under the care of Radiology

Ensure Clinicians respond and action referrals within locally agreed timescales ensuring a clear audit trail

Have a clear understanding of current Government and locally agreed t targets ensuring key performance indicators are achieved by working in conjunction with the clinical and management teams.
