An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to lead on Quality and QSI accreditation of the ESNEFT Medical Imaging dep...

  • To manage and supervise the accreditation and quality processes in the Medical Imaging services, carrying out the required management and leadership tasks to support and maintain the accreditation processes
  • To maintain accreditation and liaise with UKAS with regards required annual submissions
  • The duties and responsibilities of the post will be undertaken in accordance with the policies, procedures and practices of ESNEFT, which the Trust may amend from time to time.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in the workplace

Desirable

  • Relevant post grad courses

Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in a radiology department
  • Experience of working at a senior level within a radiology service.
  • Current experience of managing a complex area of work and leading a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Current experience of staff management in MDT working

Desirable

  • Experiencing chairing meetings
  • Involvement with devising and implementing competency frameworks for staff training
  • Experience of investigating DATIX incidents and managing outcomes
  • HCPC registered

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge and understanding of Clinical & Radiation Governance relevant to imaging and managing a modality area.
  • Awareness of the legal responsibilities of a radiology service to patients, service users, and staff.
  • Knowledge of current issues within healthcare and radiography.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

Desirable

  • Able to demonstrate involvement with implementing new processes, project management or introduction and managing training for implementation of new equipment in clinical working
