We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Administrator at Avery Healthcare's Group Support Centre in Northampton. The role involves ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, maintaining strong financial controls, and building relationships with internal and external bodies. Responsibilities include invoice matching, coding, posting, handling supplier queries, reconciling statements, checking payment runs for errors, setting up and verifying suppliers, and answering telephone and email queries. Candidates must possess previous administration experience, effective communication skills, professional telephone manner, and a positive attitude towards clients and visitors.

Your focus as Purchase Ledger Administrator will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and maintaining strong financial controls across our care home operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for invoice matching, coding, and posting, as well as handling supplier queries and reconciling statements.
Other responsibilities will include
- Building a relationship with internal and external bodies
- Answering telephone and email queries
- Checking payment runs for errors and duplicates
- Setting up and verification of suppliers

- Previous experience within an administration role
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
