This is an exciting opportunity to join Harrow Councils Public Health team as a Public Health Disease Prevention Nurse, playing a key role in improving the health and wellbeing of residents across the borough. Focussed on prevention rather than direct patient care, you will support the development of skills, confidence and capacity within primary care and adult social care teams to deliver effective lifestyle advice and Making Every Contact Count (MECC) interventions. Through this work, you will help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, prevent long-term conditions and encourage healthier lifestyles across Harrows communities.
