The post holder will support the Procurement Business Manager in the provision of a professionalprocurement service to the Health Board / Trust contributing to the development and achievement of the the teams objectives.

Qualifications and knowledge
Essential
- Qualified to CIPS (Level 4)/NVQ2/3 or equivalent experience
- 5 GCSE's grade C and above, including Maths & English or equivalent experience

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to work positively as part of a team

- Proven ability to use Microsoft products

- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets

Knowledge / Experience

- Knowledge of professional purchasing principles acquired through NVQ level 3 or Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply, plus knowledge of contract law acquired through short courses and experience

- Tendering and specification writing
