Prescribing Pharmacist

The Prescribing Pharmacist at Operose Health, located in Basingstoke, plays a critical role in delivering superior primary care by enhancing patient access, clinical outcomes, and overall patient experience. The role involves integration within the practice team to collaborate closely with clinicians, focusing on patient care improvements and cost-effective prescribing decisions. Key responsibilities include conducting telephone triage, managing patients through clinical assessment and management, reviewing and triaging pathology results, addressing the needs of patients with complex health conditions, and leading the practice repeat prescription service. The ideal candidate is expected to be GPhC registered, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate a strong desire to enhance patient care within a team-oriented environment. The position is permanent, requiring 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
