We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team at Woodley Centre Surgery. The successful candidate will be a ...

You will be expected to carry out all usual treatment room and chronic disease management activities, including but not limited to:

Childhood and adult immunisations

Cervical cytology

Wound care and dressings

Injections (e.g. B12, contraceptive, travel vaccines)

ECGs, spirometry, blood pressure checks, phlebotomy

Health promotion and lifestyle advice

Long-term condition management (e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension reviews)

Looking for Mondays and Fridays (all day)

The Practice Nurse will work as part of the clinical team to deliver high quality, evidence-based nursing care to the registered practice population. The post holder will provide a full range of treatment room and chronic disease management services, supporting patients to maintain and improve their health and wellbeing.

Woodley Centre Surgery is a 3 Partner forward thinking surgery. We currently run 5 Group Clinics and enjoy working collaboratively across the wider team.

Qualifications

Essential: - Maintain NMC registration and adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
