Job description

Cobbs Garden Surgery are looking for a Practice Nurse Manager to join the team on a part-time basis for 18-22 hours per week. This role is responsible...

  • Provide professional leadership and support to all members of the nursing team.
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care.
  • Maintain oversight of clinical standards and patient outcomes.
  • Lead on the development, implementation, and review of nursing policies and procedures.
  • Act as a role model for best clinical practice.

Cobbs Garden Surgery is based in Olney, a beautiful market town in north Buckinghamshire, and we also serve the surrounding villages.

Experience

Essential

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Experience of staff supervision and appraisal
  • Significant experience working within primary care or general practice.
  • Mentor or teaching qualification.
  • Experience managing or leading clinical teams.
  • Experience in chronic disease management, immunisations, and health promotion.

Qualifications

Essential

  • A relevant nursing degree.
  • Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
  • Recognised qualification in chronic disease management or equivalent experience.
